Randy Bouwkamp

Randy founded Bouwkamp Builders, Inc. over 35 years ago, driven by a passion for both homebuilding and entrepreneurship. Today, he continues to lead the company by developing new projects, meeting with clients, and guiding the land development and home design process. Randy stays actively engaged in tracking industry trends, exploring innovative building products, and incorporating new technologies. He holds a Graduate Builder Certification, is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, and is also a licensed REALTOR® and Broker. Outside of work, Randy enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, and relaxing in Northern Michigan. Randy attends Hart United Methodist Church.

Rilee Bouwkamp

Rilee plays a key role in leading project management at Bouwkamp Builders, bridging the gap between detailed planning in the office and precise execution on-site. With a background in Mechanical Engineering from Hope College, he brings both technical expertise and practical insight to the team. Rilee also stays current on emerging building technologies and innovations, ensuring each project benefits from the latest tools and practices. As a licensed real estate agent, he adds another layer of value to clients navigating the building process. He loves to spend time in Northern Michigan with his young family. Rilee attends Crossroads Bible Church. 

Scott Bouwkamp

With over three decades of experience in the construction industry, Scott brings invaluable knowledge and leadership to the day-to-day operations of each project. His hands-on approach—managing subcontractor relationships and staying present on job sites—helps ensure every home is built with quality and completed on schedule. Scott is committed to staying current with building code updates and industry trends, always striving for excellence in every detail. Outside of work, he enjoys working on his hobby farm and supporting his kids in their various activities. Scott attends North Blendon CRC. 

Hannah Rietveld

Hannah’s background in business accounting equips her with the tools to keep Bouwkamp Builders’ financial operations organized and transparent. She works diligently behind the scenes to ensure accuracy in budgeting, draw schedules, and subcontractor payments—providing clients with clear, timely, and dependable financial information throughout their project. Her attention to detail and commitment to efficiency make her an essential part of the team. Outside the office, Hannah enjoys caring for her four beautiful horses and spending time outdoors.

Herb Alfree

Herb has decades of experience in business development, developing industry leading resorts, and fractional sales organizations. His skills and knowledge in the area of community planning and sales are unmatched. He provides consultation with Bouwkamp Builders and our clients as it relates to community development, strategic sales planning, and market value analysis. In Herb’s free time he likes to  play golf, travel, and enjoy conversation with friends and family. Herb attends Christ Memorial Reformed Church.
